Depression is one of the reasons for the increase in the number of suicides in Vietnam. It is estimated that every year tens of thousands of people commit suicide due to depression, 2.5 times more than the number of people who die from traffic accidents.

Depression in young people is caused by many factors. For example, genetic factors, environment, psychological trauma, academic pressure or school violence, etc.

The symptoms of depression in young people are also easy to recognize: Children often feel sad, empty, angry, irritable, frustrated with only very minor problems; frequent fatigue, loss of interest or pleasure in previously enjoyed activities; have pessimistic thoughts about the future, feel hopeless, anxious, agitated or restless.
